The facing page holds the entry — dated, unhurried, written in the same hand as every entry before it. The pen is set down mid-thought because a bee landed on it and the keeper decided the bee was more interesting than the sentence. Nothing here was written for an audience. It was written because the record is part of the work, and the work does not stop being done when no one is watching. The notebooks fill, the seasons turn, and the observations sit in a drawer accumulating into something that was true the whole time. Observe. Document. Transmit.

CARE
Machine wash cold, inside out. Tumble dry low or hang. Do not iron the print. No bleach, no fabric softener. The halftone will soften with wear — that is the intended aging.
