Measurements are taken flat. Chest is half the garment; double it for the full circumference. Body length is measured from the high point of the shoulder.

A keeper stands at the seam between the managed world and the strip that was left alone, the crowned sigil burning over the veil like a low sun. Two foragers hold the edge. Around the boots, what an unmowed fence line actually grows when nobody improves it: coneflower, sunflower, poppy, lupine, yarrow, all of it in the colors of late summer. Below the soil line the roots run straight into comb. The corridor feeds the hive because the keeper did nothing to it. Protect. Defend. Endure.
The ground does not need saving. It needs someone who will not touch it.
