Sacred Hive Tree Hoodie
Printed to order · ships in 2–4 business days · arrives Nov 10–Nov 15 (US) · $4.99 shipping, free over $55
Full back print. The IronHive mark at the left chest. Two weights, one tree.
The hive builds no temple.
Every order earns a packet of wildflower seeds — mailed separately by the keeper, with a handwritten note. Plant them. The swarm will find them.
Trunk and branches grown entirely from honeycomb, a crowned queen enthroned at the heart, comb roots spreading into a skep at the base. On a pale ground the structure reads less like devotion and more like revelation — the hive's intelligence made visible in its own material. This is the Sacred Hive register — reverence as discipline.
“The hive builds no temple. It grows one, cell by cell, and calls it a tree.”
Which weight. The same tree comes on two different hoodies, at the same price. Pick by how heavy you want it and what color you want it in.
Midweight Hoodie — Honey Dew, Ivory, Sandstone. 8.5 oz.
Heavyweight Hoodie — Ivory. 12.5 oz.
They are not cut the same. At the same label size the Midweight runs wider and a little longer — a Midweight M is about 5 inches bigger around than a Heavyweight M. Check the size chart before ordering, especially if you are switching between the two.
In the hand. The Midweight is the one you reach for more often: brushed soft on the inside, warm enough for the yard in October without the bulk. The Heavyweight is heavy — you feel the 12.5 oz when you lift it. Thick, dense fleece that holds warmth on a cold morning without needing a coat over it. On both, the print sits in the fabric, not on it; run a thumb across it and you can't find the edge.
The color. Honey Dew is a pale sage, not a mint — warm in daylight, nearly grey in shadow. Ivory is a soft off-white, warmer than white and closer to raw cotton; it is the one color offered in both weights. Sandstone is a warm, dusty sand, the color of a dry field in August; the gold comb-work reads darkest against it.
The numbers.
Midweight Hoodie — Independent Trading Co. IND280SL Avenue. 8.5 oz (280 gsm) midweight fleece, 80% ring-spun cotton / 20% polyester, 3-end fleece with 100% cotton face yarns. Double-layer single-piece hood, no drawcord. Blind-stitched seams, 1x1 ribbing at cuff and waistband, pouch pocket, tear-away label. Sizes XS–3XL.
Heavyweight Hoodie — Independent Trading Co. IND420XD. 12.5 oz heavyweight fleece, 75% ring-spun cotton / 25% polyester. Oversized cut, dropped shoulder, double-layer single-piece hood, no drawcord. Ribbed cuffs and waistband, pouch pocket, tear-away label. Sizes XS–3XL.
Both OEKO-Tex Standard 100 certified, made in WRAP-certified facilities. Full back print, IronHive mark at the left chest. DTF printed to order. $63.95.
The fit. Both run oversized through the body with a dropped shoulder — boxy, deliberate, not fitted. Take your usual size for the full drape; size down one for a closer cut. The Midweight is the roomier of the two at any given size. Chart linked above.
Sacred Hive Tree also lives as a tee.
Evergreen — restocked, never rushed.
Care. Wash cold, inside out. Tumble dry low or hang. No iron on the print. Tend the conditions and it outlasts the season. Every print is backed for 30 days — if it fails, we replace it.
Seeds. Every order gets a packet of wildflower seeds, mailed separately by the keeper with a handwritten note. Not a promotion. Part of the discipline. ironhiveco.co/seeds
Inches, garment laid flat. Measure a shirt you already like and compare.
This hoodie comes in two weights. They are not cut the same. At the same label size the Midweight runs wider and slightly longer than the Heavyweight — a Midweight M is about 5" bigger around than a Heavyweight M. Check the right table before ordering.
How to measure: lay a hoodie you already own flat and compare to these numbers — don't measure your body. Chest width is half the garment circumference; double it to compare against a chest measurement. Tolerance ±1".

Questions
What are the shirts printed on?
Bella+Canvas — 3001C Classic Tee, 3010C Heavyweight Tee, 6110 Ladies' Heavyweight, 6400 Ladies' Relaxed, 6405 Ladies' V-Neck, and 3501 / 3511 long sleeves. All Airlume combed and ring-spun cotton. Hoodies are Independent Trading IND420XD (heavyweight) and IND280SL (midweight). The exact blank is listed in the GARMENT block on every product page.
Where are the garments made, and are they American sized?
The blanks are imported: the Bella+Canvas tees are sewn in Honduras and Nicaragua, and the Independent Trading hoodies come out of their WRAP Gold-certified China and Pakistan factories. Imported doesn't mean cheaply made — the hoodie fabric in particular is heavyweight, ring-spun, and holds up; it's not a thin blank. Every garment is then printed and shipped from our print partner's two US facilities. The brand itself is American, start to finish — every design is drawn from a real Oregon apiary and art-directed by the working beekeeper who keeps it. Sizing is standard American sizing throughout — S–3XL depending on the style — true to size. Check the size chart on each product page before you order.
How long does it take to ship?
Printing takes 2–4 business days, then 2–5 business days with USPS or UPS. Most orders land 5–8 business days after you order; a few take up to two weeks. You'll get a tracking email when it leaves. The seeds come in a separate envelope from the keeper, not in the shirt package, and usually land within a few days of it.
How much is shipping?
$4.99 anywhere in the US. Free at $55 and up — any two tees qualify. Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico are a flat $8.95.
What if I entered the wrong address?
An undeliverable package goes back to the printer and gets reshipped, which adds two to three weeks. Check the address on your confirmation email and reply to it right away if anything's off — it can be fixed before it prints, not after.
Do you ship to Canada or overseas?
Not yet. US only for now.
Do bigger sizes cost more?
No. 2XL and 3XL are the same price as a medium. Tees run S–3XL; a few cuts vary, so the size chart on each product page is the exact word. Every product has a size chart with garment measurements — open it before you order.
How do I find my size?
Every product page has a size chart with garment measurements — chest width and length, laid flat. Lay a shirt you already like flat, measure it, and match it to the chart; that beats guessing every time. The blanks run true to American sizing. Between sizes on a heavyweight tee? Go up. Still unsure, email support@ironhiveco.co with your measurements and the keeper's house will call it for you — and if it still lands wrong, size exchanges are free within 30 days.
What if the print peels, cracks, or arrives damaged?
Every print has a 30-day replacement guarantee. Email a photo to support@ironhiveco.co and a new one goes out at no charge.
The print is pressed into the fabric rather than sitting on top of it, so it softens with the shirt instead of cracking off. Wash cold and inside out and it outlasts the season.
"The quality is great and I'm not afraid the graphic will come off in the wash." — Shaunna W., Field Report
Can I exchange for a different size?
Yes, within 30 days on unworn, unwashed garments. Email support@ironhiveco.co with your order number and the size you need and we'll set it up.
What seeds come with the order?
A packet of wildflower seeds from American Meadows, chosen for bee forage — mailed separately by the keeper with a handwritten note. The blend on the sleeve rotates with what's in stock. It won't be in the shirt package; it comes on its own. How to plant them: ironhiveco.co/seeds.
Are the designs AI-generated?
Partly. The imagery is made with AI tools and art-directed by the keeper. The mythology is fantasy — a colony won't move into a deer skull — but the beekeeping underneath it is real: the equipment, the bee anatomy, the seasons, what the hive is actually doing. Where the generator gets a keeper's detail wrong, it gets fixed before anything prints.
How do I wash it?
Inside out, cold water, tumble low or hang dry. No bleach, no fabric softener, no iron on the print.
Shipping policy
Shipping cost. $4.99 anywhere in the US. Free on orders of $55 and up — any two tees qualify. Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico are a flat $8.95. US only for now; no international shipping yet.
Processing. Every garment is printed after you order it. Printing takes 2–4 business days. Processing times may run longer during peak periods.
Delivery. Once your order ships, delivery takes 2–5 business days with USPS or UPS. Most orders land 5–8 business days after you order; a few take up to two weeks. You'll get a tracking email when it leaves.
Wildflower seeds. Every IronHive Co. order includes a packet of wildflower seeds, mailed separately by the keeper with a handwritten note. This is not a bonus item — it is part of the order. Seeds ship on their own from Roseburg, Oregon, in a separate envelope, and usually arrive within a few days of your garment. If your clothing has arrived and your seeds have not, please allow two weeks before reaching out.
Wrong address. An undeliverable package goes back to the printer and gets reshipped, which adds two to three weeks. Check the address on your confirmation email and reply to it right away if anything's off — it can be fixed before it prints, not after.
A note on timing. Delivery estimates are not guarantees. Carrier delays, weather, and other factors outside our control can affect arrival times. If something goes sideways with your shipment, reach out at support@ironhiveco.co and we'll help sort it out.
Secure checkout. All payments are processed through a secure and encrypted checkout system.
Returns, exchanges and refunds
Returns and refunds
Every IronHive Co. garment is printed to order. Nothing sits in a warehouse waiting, which means there is no stock for a returned piece to go back into.
If something is wrong, we make it right. Damaged in transit, a flawed print, the wrong item or size in the package — contact us within 30 days of delivery at support@ironhiveco.co with your order number and photos of the issue. We will send a replacement or refund the order in full at no cost to you.
Sizing. If the fit is wrong, we will send the correct size once, free, within 30 days of delivery. Write to us with your order number and the size you need. There is no charge and no fee.
Change of mind. If you decide within 30 days of delivery that you do not want the piece, we will refund the order in full to the original payment method.
You do not need to ship anything back. Ever. Return postage on a made-to-order garment costs more than the garment is worth to us, and the piece cannot be resold. There is no return shipping cost to you because there is no return shipment. Keep it, pass it on, or use it as a rag. That is the whole policy.
Garments may be worn or tried on. We only ask that you not send anything back, because we do not want it back.
Why we ask for photos. They tell us whether the problem happened at the printer or in transit, and that is the only way the fault gets corrected rather than repeated. Photos are only needed for damage or print flaws — not for sizing or change of mind.
Size charts are on every product page. The heavyweight blanks grade differently from the standard ones; the chart is worth reading before ordering. If you are between sizes, write to us before you order and we will tell you what we would do.
Refunds are issued to the original payment method and post within 7 business days.
